Hey guys! For today’s free blog I will be blogging about Niga Higa’s parkour video. For those of you that haven’t seen it I will post it below. It’s very funny, cool, and creative. If you watch to the end then you will find that it was very hard to make and it took a lot of effort. I think he said it took him 3 weeks to make it. It’s insane how cool it is, he is in a picture and crawls out of it and can do human actions. Plus, it teaches you a good lesson, never give up on your dream. It may take time but keep on trying. That’s it for this blog guys, I hope you like it!
Hey guys this is the extra paragraph we are required to write. If you don’t already know what it’s on then I’ll tell you, Mr.M wants to know if we will be thinking about returning to the media class next year. I am thinking about staying in the media class for the next two years. I want to stay because it’s fun and I enjoy everything we do and learn. I think it will be a wonderful way to practice my media skills. There are many reasons why I love this class and if you have read my other blog you will know more detailed reasons. If you haven’t then check it out. I am very willing to dedicate my time to work hard for all years I am in the program. I think this is it for this short blog! Thanks for reading!
Hey guys! Today’s blog is going to be a little longer, we are required to write six paragraphs for just this blog. This is on why I joined the media class in the first place. There are many reasons why I signed up and I will provide three reasons and an extra paragraph saying if I’m thinking about staying in the class next year.
One reason why I joined media was so I could learn. I was in WKTV at Wilcox and I really enjoyed it there. We ran the announcements and it was a lot of fun and I thought I could learn way more if I joined media so I did. I was very excited to learn about media and how to make videos and just how to be better with technology.
Another reason I joined media was because I knew it was challenging. I know that sounds weird but I really wanted to challenge myself and exceed my expectations. I thought media would do this for me because it did for my brother and sister. Plus, I knew I would learn how to work with others and learn from my mistakes.
The last reason why I joined media was because I’m looking at this being a career for me when I’m older. I really enjoy it but first I had to learn it so I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn how to make videos. This is a career that I would be happy with and if I’m really good then I might actually earn a lot of money.
These are just three reasons why I joined media. I hope you like my blog! Don’t forget to read my other paragraph about whether or not I’m thinking about joining media again. It will be posted separate. Bye!
Hey guys! Today’s blog is on “The Peanuts Movie”. It’s based on Charlie Brown liking the new girl next door and Snoopy (his dog) helps him gain the new girl as a friend. It looks really funny but the characters do some crazy things to Snoopy that are pretty brutal to do to a real dog, but it's a cartoon. It looks unique and funny. I will post the movie trailer below and I hope you like it!
Hey guys! Today’s free blog is on the drone. Kaycee and I used it for our project yesterday at the biomass plant. If you don’t know what it is it’s basically a flying camera. You attach an IPad on to the remote so you can see what shots the drone is taking. You can get really nice high shots and it’s flying range is about a mile. Mr.M let Kaycee and I practice flying it at the school once and I was scared I was going to crash it into something our hurt someone. That time we tested it out Mr.M was flying it and a leaf flew towards it and the blades chopped the leaf up into pieces. The blades are sharp so you really need to be careful while handling with the drone. It also can take off and land by itself. It also has a home button so if you can’t see it it will fly back to you. This is just a new piece of equipment that is now available to us. I will post a picture below of the drone and a picture taken by the drone yesterday. I hoped you liked my blog! BYE!
Hey guys! Today’s blog topic is on our STN practice that we had last week Wednesday. I’m in spot feature for those of you who don’t know. I would say we did okay but I have to work and learn a lot. Today I will reflect back on how it went.
Somethings that I think we need work on is getting a story. We only had 2 hours to film and 3 hours to edit. So we spent an hour at the beach looking for a story and a lot of people don’t want to be interviewed. So, we have to work on finding a story faster.
Another thing we need to work on is getting more or better b-roll. Well, this more for me. The camera we use is NEX. I have never used it before so I need to practice using it because my b-roll was sort of blurry. So I need to work on that a lot.
The last thing I think needs work on is being on time. We were late to the editing room just by ten minutes. At least we turned our project in eight minutes early. But we have to watch the time and make sure we make the deadline.
These are a few things that I need to work on by myself and as a team. So, these are some things I will have to remember the next practice which is on December 5th. I hoped you liked my blog!
Hola! I’m sure you all watch or have watched a disney movie with princesses or heard of fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood. Well today I will be talking about a TV show that takes those stories and changes them up to make it super interesting. It’s called "Once Upon a Time"! I love that show because sometimes they make the evil characters good. For example, the Evil Queen in the end she becomes nice. Another thing I like about the show is that they all live in a town called Storybrook and all characters except for three don’t know they are characters in a book. So, they switch the show from the life they have at the time to when they knew they were fairy tales. You also get to see how the Evil Queen became evil and how Prince Charming was before he became the prince. Anyways this show is super cool and they change up the stories a lot so you don’t know what happens next. I will post the first episode below because if you watch it from the middle of the season you will get lost, big time! Hope you like it! Bye!Hey guys! There are many forms of bullying, physical, online, or just teasing right to their face. I tease people, but in a playful way, such as family and close friends that I know won’t take it personally. Today I’m going to blog about a time I teased someone and they didn’t take it personally but they almost did. Luckily I explained fast enough so she knew I was joking. But that got me thinking, what if they did? This is a friend that takes things personally and she doesn’t really think things are jokes.
One thing that I know I have to watch when I tease someone is that I don’t cross the line. I have to make sure they know I’m joking. I've seen many people cross the line and I don’t want to do that because sometimes people cry.
Another thing I need to watch is that I don’t tease someone so bad that others look at me as a bully. Teasing is a form of bullying as I said at the beginning. Teasing can spread around and people may see you or the person being teased in a different way. Usually that way is never good.
The last thing I have to do to prevent my teasing to be taken seriously is immediately say that I’m joking. If I hadn't said I was joking then she could have taken it seriously and it could have hurt her feelings.
In conclusion make sure you don’t cross the line when teasing. Especially with your friends because you don’t want to lose them. These are some tips for you when you tease. I hope it was helpful! Bye!
Hola! Today I’m gonna talk about my favorite place I’ve ever been. Mr.M assigned this topic to us due to the talk about where we will go after STN. The choices were Washington, Boston, and New York. I personally wanted New York because my uncle (Mr.M’s brother) lives there and I haven’t seen him in forevers. Anyways, my favorite place I’ve been is definitely between Oahu and New York, but I think my favorite would have to be Oahu. I know you're going to be like but that’s like still in Hawaii. So, that’s why I’m going to be listing three reasons why.
My first reason is because I have a lot of family up there that are like some of the funniest people ever, well besides the media class. My grandpa and almost all of my mom’s side lives up there. So, that basically means I rarely see them unless I have a soccer tournament, a family tradition, or if someone is really ill or even dies. (I know pretty sad). That is definitely one reason I love Oahu.
The second reason is because I have so much fun and I know people who are willing to spend time with me. When you go on a family trip you don’t really have friends to where you're going. But in Oahu I have cousins around the same age as me and older cousins to take us to parks and water parks.
The last reason why I really love Oahu is because there is so much to do there. I know California and a bunch of other places have much more to do, but the thing is that you have to drive pretty far to get to on place because it’s so large, not in Oahu. Everything is pretty close by the longest drive is maybe an hour or so. It’s not so far apart from everything.
This is why Oahu is my favorite place to go, but I’m sure I will definitely have a new favorite place after STN. Well now you know my favorite place to travel to for now. Hope you liked my blog! Bye!
Hey guys! For this week’s blog I’m doing it on this great band called Disney Dudez or IM5. Plus there, this awesome dude named Todrick Hall and they all can sing super awesomely. Their video is super cool I like the idea of it because I love Disney and in the end of their video they do some technique where they split the screen into multiple parts I think it’s super awesome. There are 3 different videos and I will post them all below and it’s hilarious. Todrick Hall makes a bunch of awesome singing videos with other people and this is only one group he worked with. In the first video there was a Prince Charming, but in real life he left the band so the had try outs for replacement. Just a little information. Anyways the boys that are currently in the band are Cole Pendery as Eric & Ariel, Will Jay Behlendorf as Shang & Mulan, Dana Vaughns as Beast & Belle, and David Scarzone as Elsa & Sleeping Beauty. The former member’s name is Dalton Rapattoni as Cinderella and Prince Charming. I hope you like the video it might seem a little strange, but I find it hilarious. Bye! (BTW Disney Dudez 2 is my favorite).
