Hey everyone! This is my first blog of the new school year. This will be my last year in media because I am an eighth grader. Anyways, in this weeks blog I will be sharing my three goals for the new school year, which are, to not wait till the last minute to work on the eighth grade slideshow, meet all of my deadlines for my projects, and to communicate effectively with all of my partners.
My first goal for this school year is to not procrastinate on the eighth grade slideshow. In previous years the eighth graders have forgotten about the project and waited till the third or fourth quarter to start. They get the same lecture at the beginning of each year about not procrastinating, and yet they always seem to be scrambling towards the end of the year. I want to make sure we start right away and not forget about it until it's almost due. Another goal I have for this year is to keep up with all of my work and meet all of my deadlines. Since there is only 13 students in our class this year, we have a lot more work to do. We have more radios, and we have to work morning announcements almost every week. I still want to be able to keep up with all of my different projects, and turn them all in on time. Not only in media, but in other classes too. My last goal is to communicate with everyone and make sure me and my partners are on the same page. This year I have to work with a lot more people than last year. My two partners for Inside Scoops is Abby and Halea, I work with Ty on Kauai Grown, I work with Abby for the first quarter, and the three other eighth graders for eighth grade slideshow. I feel that the only way to succeed in this class is to communicate with your partners because you need to work together. My goals for this school year is to not procrastinate on the eighth grade slideshow, keep up with all of my school work and make all of the deadlines, and to be on the same page as all of my partners. Since we have more work to do this year, our class only has to post one blog each week. Thanks for reading!
